7 Low-Cost Updates to Prepare Your Hamilton Home for Sale

You don't necessarily need to spend thousands of dollars renovating your home before putting it on the market.

In many cases, a few relatively simple updates can help your home feel cleaner, more current and better cared for.

The key is knowing where to spend—and where not to.

Here are seven low-cost updates worth considering before selling your Hamilton home.

1. Freshen up the front entrance

Your front entrance is one of the first things buyers see.

If the mailbox, house numbers, door hardware or other small details are looking tired, replacing or refreshing them can make the entrance feel more cared for.

You don't need to completely redesign the front of your house. Just look for the small things that make the area feel neglected.

2. Replace a worn-out doormat
