Here are three common mistakes to avoid when you're looking at homes in Hamilton.

1. Falling in Love With the House Before Doing Your Homework

A beautifully presented home can make a strong first impression.

But remember that you're buying more than what you see during a showing.

Take the time to understand the property beyond its finishes and décor. Look at comparable homes, consider the condition of the major components and ask questions about anything you don't understand.
